CRAWL SPACE REPAIR

Many Tigard homes, especially the older neighborhoods closer to Highway 99W and along Fanno Creek, sit over vented crawl spaces. After a wet winter it’s common for us to find standing water, sagging insulation, rotted support posts and mold on the joists. Left alone, those problems lead to bouncy or sloping floors and a musty smell that reaches the rest of the house.

We’ll inspect the whole crawl space, including drainage, vapor barrier, insulation, posts, beams and any signs of mold or rot, then show you what we found. Repairs can range from replacing a few support posts to new drainage, a sump pump, a new vapor barrier or a full encapsulation, and we’ll explain each option clearly.
